Quickies for Breakfast

Its always a challenge to find something tasty, nutritious, gluten & dairy free AND quick for brekky! The Mojettes are fans of quinoa porridge and found this fantastic recipe in the new release Quirky Cooking book from Jo Whitton & Thermomix.

600g almond or non dairy milk

50g quinoa flakes

50g chia seeds

1-2 tbsp raw honey

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 tbsp mesquite powder – optional

1/4 tsp fine sea or himalayan salt

Place all ingredients into Thermomix mixing bowl and mix 3 sec/speed 3. Then cook 5 min/30 degree/reverse/speed 2.

Don’t have a Thermomix – not a problem! Bring ingredients to the boil in a saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes constantly stirring.

Add Coyo or Meredith Sheeps Milk Yoghurt and throw on some fruit.

Quickies are always satisfying in the morning
